Please answer the following questions so that i can evaluate if the main messages on fat or effectively communicated, or not. Thanks!
1. What are the 4 types of fats found in the diet?
2. What are sources of saturated fats in the diet?
3. Are saturated fats good or bad for you?
4. Are man made trans (or hydrogenated) fats ok to consume?
5. Please list the main sources of man made trans (hydrogenated) fats in the diet
6. What are some good sources of monounsaturated fats?
7. What are sources of Omega 6 fats in the diet & what are sources of omega 3 fats in the diet?
8. What strategies can you implement to balance your intake of the omega 3 and the omega 6 fats?
9. How do we recommend distributing your intake of saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats in your diet?
10. Please list any questions/concerns/comments regarding your lessons on fats. Thanks!

1) Monounsaturated, Polyunsaturated, Saturated, and Trans Fat 2) Red meat, dark meat poultry, pork, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, and butter 3) They are good for you, as long as you consume them in moderate amounts. Approximately 1/3 of you fat intake daily. 4) No they are bad news!! 5) Premade bakes goods, margarine, and fried potatoes 6) Avocado, Nuts, and Extra virgin olive oil 7) Eat meat that comes form animals that are grass fed vs. corn fed. Take krill or fish oil. 8) By taking fish or krill oil daily, by limiting the intake of excessive amounts of sugar, and by eating grass fed animal protein and wild caught fish. 9) By choosing the right foods to eat, and eliminating the unhealthy foods from our diet. 10) N/A
